NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer - Caramel

Hi guys,

My friend and fellow food and makeup junkie, Lamide, bought me the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade caramel and I intend to use it to highlight...it's been on my wish list for a long time and it's my first ever NARS product. I still have the Taj Mahal Blush, Sheer Glow/Luminous Foundation, Dragon Girl Lipstick and Audacious Lipstick in Dominique on that list, but with time I'll probably get them checked off the list :)

Anyways, NARS has such awesome packaging....just my type. The black matte top makes the concealer look expensive and the glass body isn't the cheap kind. The doe-foot applicator is just perfect, I can control the amount of product I use.

In terms of consistency, it really is creamy, but I haven't used it on my face so I can't tell if it is as radiant as it claims to be.

Everything else works for me though and I can't wait to try it out. Anyone else tried this? Please let me know your thoughts.

  1. I have used two of these concealers already. Amande for covering my blemishes as it's a little dark and Caramel which is closer to my complexion. I do like both of them and I think they are amazing concealers and very few come close to it. The only problem I have is that they run out so fast and they are so expensive but they are very addictive so you would find yourself saving to repurchase it once it runs out...xx

    1. Lol @ saving to repurchase. Feels like I'm about to go down a slippery slope of NARS addiction, but I'm still walking into it confidently.

The last time I was at a NARS counter, the lady suggested Amande to me for highlighting but I thought it looked a bit dark, so I opted for Caramel this time. I hope I didn't get a wrong shade sha, but I'm sure I can make it work somehow.

Hopefully it's as amazing as you say on me.

  3. Rewind to a couple months ago...I did this Empties video where I said I was over the nars concealers and how I didn't think they were indeed all that special. I was sticking with my mac pro long wear and yakkity yak. Fast forward to 2 days ago...it's 20% off season at Sephora *adds to cart and checks out*. This concealer is an addiction! 😭

  4. Oh about the shade match. I feel the same way. I feel like amande is too dark but caramel seems too light. So I end up mixing the two to get my perfect highlight. You see how that can add up quickly? Lol. Eventually I have to decide if I want an obvious highlight or a subtle one hence using one or the other instead of mixing. And they run out so fast. Ugh!

    1. LMAOOOO! Emi you have killed me oh! I can see how it becomes an addiction...so I'll probably need to get amande too, thanks for the heads up.

They need to work on their bottle size tho.

It is indeed well in this makeup struggle.

  5. Lol I doesn't look too light to my but then again I like my highlight to pop or else I don't see the point. I haven't tried this but after reading the comments I might just stay away I don't need any new addictions plssss lol
