BLAIR BY LADY BIBA
Heyyyy,
I attended the Lady Biba Pop-Up in Abuja this past Saturday and I fell in love with the Blair top...almost got it in another print, but my bank account refused to let me be great.
I looove the entire Lady Biba brand...their clothes are made of quality fabric and they last long. Sounds weird, but a lot of Nigerian brands, in a bid to be affordable, skimp on fabric quality and go with the cheap stuff and also on finishing but none of that with Lady Biba; all their pieces are well tailored and durable. Plus, the lady behind the brand is a young and amazing woman doing great things, it's so easy to patronize her.
I own a couple of Lady Biba work dresses; they know how to do work chic so well, so my corporate ladies, don't sleep on it. I also bought a formal dress and can't wait to show you guys how amazing it is when I eventually get to wear it.

I love the top. Looks like a top from H&M I used to have. I agree about certain brands skimping on fabric quality and poor finishing (shame really!)

Like! Which is why I'm hardly enthused when someone suggests a Nigerian (clothes) brand to try; we keep complaining about not being taken seriously and not having enough members of the #buynigerian movement but really, how many of them actually give us consumers reasons to #buynigerian?
